Rocsi Diaz

  Raquel Roxanne "Rocsi" Diaz also known as Rocsi is a Honduran-born TV and radio host and model. From 2006 until 2012, she was the co-host on the BET show 106 & Park. She was a reporter for Entertainment Tonight from 2012 to 2014. Her name was "RocsiDiaz". Diaz was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras but moved with her family to New Orleans, Louisiana. Diaz is of Honduran and Chilean descent. Rocsi admitted her story on 106 & Park, July 30 2009 that she been suffering from anorexia throughout her high school and middle school years because of her passion for cheerleading. She graduated from West Jefferson High School, Harvey, Louisiana. Nicholls State University was her graduation. Her career began in Dallas as a host on 97.9 The Beat which is the city's most prestigious urban radio station. Rocsi created a style of street-smart that caught the attention of Boston's Hot 97.7. She later became a DJ. In 2004, she moved to Chicago where she was enlisted as midday-hour DJ at radio station Power 92 WPWX-FM,and was dubbed "The Midday Mami".
