Renee Olstead

  Renee Olstead (born June 18, 1989) is an American actress and singer. Involved since childhood as an actor, she is most well known for her roles on the CBS sitcom Still Standing and on the drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager as Madison Cooperstein. She has also released four studio albums, mostly jazz. Olstead was born to Christopher Eric Olstead, and Rebecca Lynn Jeffries, in Kingwood, Texas. Olstead is of Norwegian ancestry.She also attended Centre Stage theatrical school and is listed on the website's alumni list. Olstead began acting as a child performer at age 8 and began making commercials and films. Olstead starred as Lauren Miller, her middle sister, on the TV sitcom Still Standing from 2002 to the year 2006. Olstead was presented with the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Television Series (Comedy) in the category of Leading Young Actress in Support for Still Standing in 2002. In 2004, she played a small role in 13 Going on 30. She also co-starred on the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager which focused on a 15-year-old girl's struggles with her unexpected pregnancy and how it affected her peers. Olstead was Madison Cooperstein as Amy's best friend.
