Renee Olstead

  Renee Olstead, born June 18th, 1989, is an American actress. She has been an actress since childhood. Her credits include Still Standing on CBS and Madison Cooperstein on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. In addition, she's recorded four studio albums, which are mainly of jazz. Olstead was born in Kingwood, Texas, to Christopher Eric Olstead and Rebecca Lynn Jeffries. Olstead is Norwegian American. She was a student at Centre Stage theatre school, and is in the alumni directory of the site. She began acting as a child actor at age eightand then made commercials and short films. From 2002 until 2006 she was a part of the TV sitcom Still Standing as middle sister Lauren Miller. Olstead received the Young Artist Award (Comedy) for her performance in Still Standing. Also, she had a tiny part in the film 13 Going on 30. She also co-starred in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It was about Amy Juergens, a fifteen-year young girl who has to deal with unplanned pregnancy, and the effects that it has on her peers. Olstead was Madison Cooperstein as Amy's best friend.
