Bérénice Marlohe

  Berenice Lim Marlohe (born 19 May 1979) is a French actress. She played anti-heroine Bond girl Severine in the twenty-third James Bond film Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire, Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She had an uncredited role in the French comedy Happiness Never Comes Alone with Sophie Marceau. Omega Watches also has her as their brand ambassador. Marlohe was born in and was raised in Paris. Her father, a medical doctor who moved from Cambodia to France is of Cambodian and Chinese descent, and her mother, a teacher, is French. Lim is the paternal maternal grandmother of Lim. She originally held aspirations of becoming a musician, as well as an artist, studying at the French arts school Conservatoire de Paris for ten years. Marlohe began her career in 2007 in the French short film called La disconance. She then made an appearance in French television shows like Pas de secrets between us (2008) Femmes de loi (2008) and R.I.S. police scientist (2009). Marlohe was in two episodes of the French crime series R.I.S. police scientist one in 2009 and another in 2012. In 2012, she played the date of Laurent who was as played by Maurice Barthelemy, in Happiness Never Comes Alone.She is most well-known for her performance as Bond girl Severine in 2012's twenty-third James Bond film Skyfall. An avid believer in destiny she said that she dreamed of appearing alongside Javier Bardem six months before her Bond audition and following the dream, she was certain that everything would go according to plan. Bardem was only cast following her second audition in Skyfall. She was the main character in 5 to 7 in 2015, and she also appeared in Song to Song 2017, alongside Natalie Portman, Ryan Gosling as well as Rooney Mara.
