  Rebbeca Marie Gómez, born on March 2nd 1997 is an American performer and actress. Her first recognition came in 2011 after she began posting videos of herself singing popular songs online. One of her videos caught the attention of producer Dr. Luke, who then offered her a joint record deal together with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. Gomez collaborated alongside Cody Simpson, Cher Lloyd and will.i.am for her debut album. The debut single she released, "Becky from the Block" (2013), received a positive reception upon the release. Later that year she released her first extended play, Play It Again (2013). Her second single, "Can't Get Enough" (2014), featured singers from Pitbull and went on to take the top spot on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in the United States. The fourth single from Gomez, "Shower," was a mainstream hit. It made it to the top twenty of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) was the first to award the song a multi-platinum certificate to indicate that the nation had sold two million copies. After the success of "Shower," Gomez released "Can't Stop Dancing" (2014), "Lovin' So Hard", and "Break a sweat" (2015) songs from her forthcoming album. In September and October 2015 she began an unofficial tour taking her all across the United States with J Balvin.
