  Rebbeca Marie Gómez, born March 2 1997 is an American performer and actress. She gained notoriety in 2011 after she started posting videos of herself covering popular songs online. One of her videos caught the attention of the producer Dr. Luke, who then provided her with a joint recording agreement together with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. When she was working on her debut album, Gomez collaborated with artists will.i.am, Cody Simpson and Cher Lloyd. The single that she debuted, "Becky from the Block" (2013), received favorable reviews upon it's release. She released her debut extended song, Play It Again (2013) in the same year. The second track, "Can't Get Enough" included Pitbull's guest vocals. The song went to become the number one Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in America. Gomez became a household name with the release of "Shower" (2014), which went on to enter the top twenty of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was later awarded the multi platinum award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) which signifies two million units sold in the United States. After the huge success of "Shower," Gomez released "Can't Stop Dancing" (2014), "Lovin' So Hard" and "Break a Sweat" (2015) songs from her forthcoming album. In October and September of 2015, she embarked on a coheadlining tour that took her all over the United States with J Balvin.
