Sarah Rafferty

  Sarah Gray Rafferty, born on the 6th of December 1972 was an American actress from the United States. She is most famous for her character Donna Paulsen on the USA Network legal drama Suits. Rafferty was the youngest of her four children and grew up in the Greenwich's Riverside neighborhood. She credits her mother Mary Lee Rafferty, the Chairwoman of the English Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart school, as well as her father, Michael Griffin Rafferty Jr. He has two successful career paths in finance and oil painting, with instilling her love of the arts.Her sisters are Maura, Ann, and Constance.Rafferty was a student at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and graduated in 1989. After completing her studies in English and Theatre at Hamilton College she was a theatre student in the United Kingdom and Oxford in her junior year. She then went on to the Yale School of Drama where she received a Master of Fine Art.
