Nicolet Aleta Heaton (born on December 4, 1994) is an American musician, singer and model. Her popularity was discovered via her YouTube channel after she uploaded Acoustic guitar versions of contemporary songs, including hip hop songs, that were viewed as viral. Heaton's debut single, "Bad Intentions," was released in 2014. The singer also released an extended version of the track. The single reached the top of the Billboard charts and was later certified gold by the RIAA. Heaton released her second single "Bad Intentions" in 2014, and an extended version of the same name on late 2015. She also dropped The Bedroom Tour Playlist, that was a similar title, on March 18, the 18th of March in 2016. The mixtape contained remastered material which she had previously put up online , and was made available for streaming for free. The mixtape was also utilized to promote her live shows. The follow-up EP, titled Starting Over was released in 2018 through Capitol Records.
