Lori Greiner, an American television personality and entrepreneur is Lori Greiner. She has been an investor on the reality television show Shark Tank and its spin-off Beyond the Tank. Greiner has been called the "Queen of QVC" since the year 2000 premiere of her show, Clever and Unique Creations. Greiner is the president and co-founder of For Your Ease Only, Inc.Greiner was born in the Near North Side, Chicago. She studied communications at Loyola University Chicago and worked for The Chicago Tribune while in college. She was a playwright for a short time and sold jewelry.She is the wife of Dan Greiner.In 1996, she invented and patent a plastic earrings organizer. J.C. Penney picked up the product just before the Christmas season, allowing her to pay off her $300,000 loan in eighteen months. Greiner has also patented consumer products in categories like jewelry storage, cosmetics electronics, household goods.
