Kim Engelbrecht

  Kim Suzanne Engelbrecht, born 20 June 1980 in South Africa is an actress best known for her roles of Lolly de Klerk, Sgt. Noma Banks was the Syfy TV show host and Marlize DeVoe as a host on CW Television. Also, she hosted Take5 during the 90s. The work of Engelbrecht is of relevance to local communities in Johannesburg. Kim had a starring role in the South African film Bunny Chow which was directed by John Barker.She had her first major break at the age of 12 when she was offered the role in the role of Sara in an Italian production, Sarahsara In the film, she was 12 year old girl from Sudanese descent who swims from the Isle of Capri to Napoli in Italy.Engelbrecht played Marlize DeVoe during the fourth season (2017-2018) of The Flash. In an interview with Kyle Zeeman of the Sunday Times, she said"It was an amazing experience working alongside actors like Grant Gustin (who plays The Flash) and Neil Sandilands, who is also a South African. I'm joining an show that is among the biggest on its network and is currently in its fourth season. It has a huge audience and is a lot of pressure. It's a major event. It is a huge event for South Africa and I want to be successful."
