Hannah Simone

  Hannah Simone (born 3 August 1980) is a British-Canadian actress, television host, and former VJ as well as a fashion model. She is famous for her role as Cece on the Fox sitcom New Girl.Simone was born in London to an Indian father and an English mother of German, Italian, and Greek Cypriot descent. Zack is her older brother. Simone spent her childhood in Calgary. Simone was aged between 7 and 10 when she moved across three continents, and attended school on each. At 13 years old, Simone was living in Cyprus and was employed as a model. Simone was 16 years old when she moved to New Delhi, where she was a student at the American Embassy School. When she was 17 years old she returned to Canada. She was settled in White Rock, British Columbia at first, but she later relocated to Vancouver and attended the University of British Columbia. Following her first degree, she returned to Hounslow, United Kingdom for one year. During that time, she was employed as an human rights and refugees officer for the United Nations.
