  Carice Anouk Van Houten is an Dutch actress and singer. Her birth date was the 5th of September 1976 in the Netherlands. She won the Golden Calf in 1999 for the first television drama, Suzy Q. Two years later she was nominated for the Golden Calf in 2001 for the title of Best Actress in a Television Drama. She was nominated to the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress in Valkyrie (2008) and was awarded the fourth and fifth Golden Calf Awards as Best Actress for The Happy Housewife (2010), and Black Butterflies (2011). Other notable English-language performances she has performed include Repo Men (2010) and Black Death (2010). She also received her fourth and fifth Golden Calf Awards for Best Actress for The Happy Homewife (2010) as well as Black Butterflies (2011).
