Brooke Vincent

  Brooke Levi Vincent, born on June 4, 1992 is an English actress from England. She is best known for playing Sophie Webster on the ITV soap show Coronation Street. This role was played by her between 2004 and in the year 2019. Vincent was born in Audenshaw, Greater Manchester, England to Nicola Anderton, a crime scene officer with Greater Manchester Police and Anthony Vincent as the tour guide for Tenerife; her parents divorced when she was just two and she was raised by her stepfather and mother, John McDermott. Vincent has an older paternal half-brother named Zak and a younger maternal half-sister, Maisie.Vincent was a student at Fairfield High School for Girls in Droylsden as well as The Manchester College, where she earned a National Diploma in Acting.Vincent's first television appearance was in the form of a guest actor, Casey Emma Glass, in the TV series, The League of Gentlemen. She was a part of Children in Need shortly after she was chosen to play Sophie on Coronation Street. Vincent placed second in Dancing on Ice's 10th season in 2018, alongside the professional dance teammate Matej Silecky.
