Valeria Lukyanova

  Valeria Valeryevna Loukyanova, from Moldova, is a Ukrainian performer and model known for her similarity to Barbie doll. She is currently living in Russia. To intensify the Barbie effect , Lukyanova applies contact lenses and makeup over her natural blue eyes, green, and gray. Although she claims that she had breast implants, her body is naturally slim thanks to regular gym work and a specific diet. Lukyanova was born on August 23, 1985 in Tiraspol in the region that was then the Moldavian SSR in the Soviet Union. She is of Russian origin. Her mother, Irina worked in the field of military. Her father, a builder was also an occasional disc jockey. Lukyanova was born in Odesa (Ukraine) and remained there until moving to Moscow at the age of 16. In 2007 Lukyanova won the global beauty contest "Miss Diamond Crown of the World". The pageant was open to women of all ages, had about 300 contestants, and had no rules against plastic surgery or body modification. She subsequently had multiple photo sessions and interviews published in Russian media, including erotic photos. After posting videos and photos of her Barbie doll-like image online, Lukyanova gained a worldwide fan base. She gained notoriety after reports of her "almost inhuman beauty" were published on the internet. Her first exposure in international media was via the Jezebel blog. She was later photographed wearing V by Sebastian Faena. Her name was mentioned by the media as as a real Barbie doll.
