Porsha Williams

  Porsha Dyanne (born June 22 1981) is an American TV personality, actress, and author. Williams starred on the television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta from 2012 to 2021 after which she left to appear in her spin-off series, Porsha's Family Matters, currently in its first season. Williams also hosted of Dish Nation from 2013 until 2021. She later became co-host of Bravo's Chat Room in 2020 alongside co-hosts Real Housewife Gizelle Bryant. In 2021, Williams published her memoir The Pursuit of Porsha. Williams was born on the 22nd of June, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents are self-employed entrepreneurs.She has an older half-sister named Lauren who shares with a father and one brother named Hosea. Her grandfather was late Hosea Williams, who was a civil rights activist.She was a student at Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, Georgia as a teenager and then pursued a degree in information technology for business at American InterContinental University.In 2005 when she was just 24 years old, Williams opened a daycare facility. She revealed that she was inspired by her parents' careers. Also in 2005, Williams modeled for a "pin-up" calendar designed by the Atlanta Dymes.Williams met football player Kordell Stewart in the year 2009. The couple was married in May 2011and the ceremony was filmed and broadcast for the WE tv series Platinum Weddings. She was Syre's stepmother through the marriage. Syre was previously involved in a relationship with Tania Richardson.
