Pixie Lott

  Victoria Louise Lott (born 12 January 1991), better known by her stage name Pixie Lott, is a popular English singer and songwriter. The album she released her debut, "Turn It Up" came out in September of 2009. It reached number six on the UK Albums Chart and sold more than 1.5 million copies. Six consecutive top twenty singles topped the UK Singles Chart in a row with two of them being number one singles, Mama Do (Uh Oh Uh Oh Oh) and "Boys and Girls". Young Foolish Happy (2011) was her second album. It was the source of the top-grossing hit "All About Tonight" and the top 10 songs "What Do You Give Me For" . Lott's self-titled third studio album, which debuted in 2014, had the single that was her lead track "Nasty", which was ranked at the top of the UK Singles Chart and was it her sixth Top 10 single in the United Kingdom.Lott has also appeared in film, television and stage, including starring in the UK production of the Richard Greenberg play Breakfast at Tiffany's in 2016. Victoria Louise Lott was born in the Bromley area of London on the 12th of January, 1991 The third child of Beverley (nee Martin) and stockbroker Stephen Lott.The family relocated around the London suburbs and eventually settled in Petts Wood and then Bickley. Lott was born a few weeks premature, and her mother gave her the nickname Pixie because she was "such a tiny, cute baby, who looked just like a fairy". She began singing at her church, and attended the Italia Conti Associates Saturday school in Chislehurst at the age of five years old. She was given an award of scholarship and was able to attend its principal school that was called the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, at the age 11. Lott, then 13, was a teenager when she moved to Brentwood with her family. She was a student at Brentwood County High School. At the age of 14 she was in the West End productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as well as at the London Palladium. She also played the role of Louisa von Trapp on BBC One's Celebrate The Sound of Music. Lott says she scored the top grades in her GCSEs despite missing school because she recorded her own album.
