Margarita Vladimirovna Levieva (Russian: Margarita Vladimirovna Levieva born on February 9, 1980) is a famous Russian-American actress. Levieva was born into a Jewish Russian family in Leningrad, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg). As children, both of her grandmothers were killed during the Siege of Leningrad. From the age of three she began to engage in rhythmic gymnastics.Levieva left for the United States at age 11 with her mother and twin brothers Michael and Michael, and was settled in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. While she was admitted to Laguardia High School to study dance, Levieva attended Secaucus public high school instead. Levieva graduated one year earlier from New York University, where she received a double major psychology and economics, along with minors in sociology, philosophy and Russian history. Levieva has completed the Meisner Acting program at the William Esper Studio, New York.
