Maitland Ward

  Ashley Maitland Welkos (born February 3 1977) also known as Maitland Ward, is an American actress and model. Her first acting role was on Jessica Forrester, a CBS soap opera (1994-1996). She continued to be seen in TV and film until the mid-2000s, she came to be a major player for her role as Rachel McGuire on the sixth and seventh seasons of the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World (1998-2000). Ward began appearing in pornographic movies after she retired from mainstream acting in 2007. Ward was Jessica Forrester, a character that she played from 1994 to 1996 in the show The Bold and the Beautiful. It was her first acting job. She was just 16 years old older and still in high school. Ward played a guest star in USA High and seven seasons of ABC's Home Improvement. She also was a part of the cast, which included Jay Thomas and Mario Lopez in the 1997 TV movie Killing Mr. Griffin. In 1998 the character of Rachel McGuire was added to Boy Meets World as a major cast member. This role lasted until the series ended in 2000. Ward was then chosen to play Dish Dogs, an independent romantic comedy, where she starred alongside Matthew Lillard, Brian Dennehy and Sean Astin. Then she appeared in White Chicks (2004) with Shawn Wayans and Marlon Howans.
