Kim Fields

  Kim Victoria Fields Morgan (nee Fields born on May 12, 1969), is an American actress. Fields is most well-known for her roles on The Facts of Life (1979-1988) and Living Single (1993-1998). She is currently a part of The Upshaws, a Netflix Original series The Upshaws. Fields is the daughter of actor/director Chip Fields-Hurd. She is also the elder sister of actress Alexis Fields, best known for her roles in Kenan & Kel, Moesha and Sister, Sister as well as Roc. Fields starred with Demond Wilson in Baby, I'm back and Denise Nicholas in a brief sitcom. She was also in commercials for Mrs. Butterworth's syrup. Janet Jackson played Penny Gordon Woods her friend in two episodes of Good Times. Fields' episodes in Good Times were "The Snow Storm" and "The Physical".Fields played the role of Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey on the NBC sitcom The Facts of Life from 1979 until 1988. Many of us still have her catchy phrase "We're a troouuble!" even years later. Fields was not tall when the show began production. The producers had to put her on roller skates to prevent awkward camera angles. Fields was too large to play Arnold Jackson's girlfriend in the Facts of Life's parent Diff'rent Strokes. In 1984, during the time of The Facts of Life, Fields released two singles under the Critique Records label: the disco/Hi-NRG "He Loves Me He Loves Me Not" (which became a minor club hit) and "Dear Michael" (which was a minor R&B chart-topper, peaking at the number. 50)
