Katie Lowes

  Katie Quinn Lowes, born on September 22 1982 was an American actress. She is also a theatre director. Her most well-known work is her role in the role of Quinn Perkins in the ABC political drama series Scandal (2012-2018) as well as her portrayal of Rachel DeLoache Williams in the Netflix drama series Inventing Anna (2022). Lowes was born in Port Washington, New York as well as in Queens. She is the daughter of an Irish Catholic father and a Jewish mother. Lowes was cast in her first television appearance on FX's Rescue Me in 2004. Later, she starred with Marcia Gay Harden on the Showtime pilot show, Hate. Lowes then appeared as a guest in the variety of TV shows which include The Sopranos, Without a Trace, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, Castle, Leverage as well as The Closer. She appeared alongside Laurie Metcalf on the CW's short-lived comedy-drama, Easy Money, in the year 2008. Alongside her TV performances, Lowes appeared in a several low-budget films such as The Job (2009), Bear (2010) and Cafe (2011).
