Karolína Kurková

  Karolina Kurkova was born on 28 February 1984 in Prague. She is a Czech model and actress. Mario Testino praised the "proportions of her body and her face, and her level of energy" and said it "ma[de her a model that could easily fit into every moment".Vogue editor Anna Wintour called her the "next supermodel".In 2007 Kurkova was one of the world's top-earning models with around $5 million. Kurkova ranked 6th on the Forbes annual list of top-earning models in 2007. Her earnings were estimated at $5 million. Her height was ridiculed by her peers as a child. But after a friend sent images of Kurkova to an agency in Prague when she was 15, she landed an appearance on a runway as well as gigs for commercial and print advertising. Later, she traveled to Milan to gain more experience and signed a contract as a model for Miuccia Prada.
