  Hallie Marie Jackson was born on April 29 1984. She is a Senior Washington correspondent for NBC News. She was employed in Salisbury, Maryland, Dover, Delaware, Hartford, Connecticut, New Haven, Connecticut and Baltimore, Maryland, before joining NBC News in 2014. Jackson was born on the 29th of April, 1984 in Yardley (PA) in Yardley (PA), the daughter of Heidi Jackson and David Jackson. She graduated from Pennsbury High School in 2002. Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2006. degree in political science.She began her career in journalism at WBOC-TV in the towns of Salisbury, Maryland, and Dover, Delaware, in 2006, and then left to join WFSB located in Hartford, Connecticut, and New Haven, Connecticut, during the year 2008. In 2012, her professional career led her to Hearst Corporation where she was reporter for 26 stations. In 2014, Jackson became a reporter and journalist for NBC News for which she covered the Ted Cruz presidential campaign for the network as an embedded reporter. In late summer 2016 Jackson began anchoring the 1 p.m. ET edition of MSNBC Live, NBC News's daytime news coverage platform.
