Genevieve Angelson

  Genevieve Rose Angelson is an American actress best known for her role as Indigo on The Afterparty, Patti Robinson on Good Girls Revolt, and Ruth on Flack. Angelson was the daughter of Mark Angelson, a lawyer and entrepreneur, and Lynn Angelson. Angelson has two elder sisters, Jessica and Meredith.She attended The Brearley School in Manhattan and then graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University and the Tisch School of the Arts's Graduate Acting Program. In September of 2013, Angelson was added to the cast of the Showtime show House of Lies as Caitlin Hobart. In 2014, Angelson replaced Mamie Gummer in the role of Det. Nicole Gravely in Backstromfor which Deadline Hollywood named Angelson one of the top casting discoveries in the year.In 2016, she starred in the Amazon Video original series, Good Girls Revolt; however the show was canceled by Amazon after one season. The Upside is an American remake of The Intouchables. She starred with Anna Paquin in Backstrom. Angelson was cast as Flack in the year 2019, and was starring with Anna Paquin. Angelson was listed as one of the Top Ten TV stars to follow by Variety. In December 2021, Angelson appeared back to back on primetime NBC in This is Us and New Amsterdam, on which shows she recurs. She is a main participant on The AfterParty on Apple TV+ created by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
