Daryl Hannah

  Daryl Christine Hannah (born December 3, 1960) is an American actress and environmentalist. Her first screen appearance was in Brian De Palma's supernatural horror film The Fury (1978). Hannah has appeared in a variety of movies over the years. Hannah was the only-eyed assassin in Elle Driver, Quentin Tarantino’s action film that focused on fighting arts. She was awarded the Saturn Award in 2004. In 2015, she starred in the Netflix series Sense8 as Angelica Turing. Hannah was the daughter of Susan Jeanne Metzger (a producer and former teacher) and Donald Christian Hannah (a tugboat and barge business owner). Her mother later married Jerrold Wexler who is the cinematographer's brother. Hannah was raised in Long Grove, Illinois with her siblings Page and Page Hannah, and Tanya Wexler (her maternal half-sister). Hannah was raised Roman Catholic.
