Daryl Hannah

  Daryl Christine Hannah (born December 3 1960) is an American actress and environmentalist. She made her screen debut in Brian De Palma's film of supernatural terror The Fury (1978). She has been in numerous films throughout the years. Hannah was the assassin with one eye in Elle Driver, Quentin Tarantino’s action film that focused on martial arts. She was awarded a Saturn Award in 2004. The actress played Angelica Turing in the Netflix series Sense8 in 2015. Hannah was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Susan Jeanne Metzger, a teacher, producer, and schoolteacher as well as Donald Christian Hannah, a tugboat and barge company owner.Her parents split in the year 2000, and her mother later married businessman Jerrold Wexler, who was the brother of cinematographer Haskell Wexler. Hannah was raised by her two siblings Don and Page Hannah and her maternal half-sister, Tanya Wexler, in Long Grove, Illinois. She was raised Roman Catholic.
