Daphne Nur Oz (born February 17th in 1986) is an American television host, food writer, and chef. For six seasons she was among the five hosts of ABC's daytime talk show The Chew. In addition, she was the host of The Good Dish which was a syndicated cooking and talk show. Oz was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 17th, 1986. She is the eldest daughter of Mehmet Oz (nee Lemole) and Lisa Oz (nee Lemole). The grandparents of her paternal grandfather, Suna (nee Atabay) and Mustafa Oz, emigrated from Konya Province, Turkey. Daphne has three siblings. Daphne was born in Cliffside Park, New Jersey in which she attended Dwight-Englewood School in 2004. Oz graduated with a degree in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University in 2008. Daphne graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with the degree of Near Eastern Studies. The book helped her in avoid the "Freshman 15".
