Christina Applegate

  Christina Applegate (born November 25, 1971) is an American actress. She was a child actor who became famous for her performance in the role of Kelly Bundy on Fox's sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate made a name for herself in the TV and film career during her later years, securing the Primetime Emmy Award from seven nominations, as well as nominations for four Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award.Applegate played the lead role in the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000) in which she resulted in an Golden Globe Award nomination. She was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for her role as a guest on the NBC sitcom Friends (2002-2003). For her role in the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity (2005), she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Following her performance in Sweet Charity (2005), she was nominated for the Tony Award as the Best Actress in a Musical. She also starred on the ABC sitcom Samantha Who (2007–2009), where she received two Primetime Emmy Award nominees. The NBC sitcom Up All Night (2011) and 2012 (2012) were both nominated by the Primetime Emmy Awards. Dead to Me (2018) is a Netflix dark drama has earned her three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
