Bonnie Schneider

  Bonnie Schneider is a national TV meteorologist as well as the writer of Extreme Weather, published by Palgrave Macmillan. Schneider is a regular on The Weather Channel. She previously worked for Headline News, and Bloomberg Television.A native of Jericho, New York, Schneider obtained a bachelor's diploma in journalism at Boston University. She studied meteorology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Hunter College in Manhattan. Her meteorological career started as a weatherman on weekends at KPLC-TV, Lake Charles, Louisiana. She continued to study at Hunter College in Manhattan and the State University of New York in Stony Brook. The show, recorded on location in California, Alabama and Florida gives homeowners suggestions on how to protect their homes against earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes.
