Alice Braga Moraes (Brazilian Portuguese born 15 April 1983) is a Brazilian actor and producer. She has been featured in a variety of Brazilian films, including the role of Angelica in City of God (2002) and Karinna (Lower City (2005). Dolores also was in Only God Knows (2006). She played the lead role in the role of Teresa Mendoza in the crime drama-thriller TV series Queen of the South (2016-2021). Alice Braga Moraes was raised in a Catholic home in Sao Paulo. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Portuguese is what she speaks. Her mother, Ana Braga, and her aunt Sonia Braga[5] were actors and Braga frequently accompanied them on sets to film. Her acting career began in school with commercials and school plays. The first commercial she appeared in was for yogurt when she was 8 years old. As a teenager she started to pursue roles in television and films.
