Aisha Tyler

  Aisha Nilaja, born September 18th, 1970 was an American comedian, actress director, and talk show host. Her most well-known work is her roles as Andrea Marino on Ghost Whisperer and Dr. Tara Lewis and Mother Nature in The Santa Clause films. She was also host of seasons two to seven on The Talk on CBS. The Talk. For these she was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show host. She has hosted Whose Line Is It Anywad since 2013. She also hosts Ubisoft's E3 press conferences and has voiced the voices of Halo Reach and Gears of War 3. Tyler was born on September 18, 1970 in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Robin Gregory, a teacher and James Tyler, a photographer. The family resided in Ethiopia for a short time and then relocated to Oakland, California to live in an Ashram. When she was 10, her parents divorced. She was then taken care of by her father. Her maternal great-grandfather was Thomas Montgomery Gregory, a dramatist and educator, and her great-great-grandfather was Howard University professor James Monroe Gregory.
